Three Wishes

Written March 25, 2008

Three wishes, the old man said
Be wise, think hard, and use your head
They’re all you get, don’t ask for more
Now, get to wishing, what are you waiting for

Step by step, she radiated beauty
She’s the kind of girl you only see in magazines
But here she was, strutting down Main Street
I couldn’t believe what this man was showing me

Two more wishes, the old man said
Be wise, think hard, and use your head
First wish down, two more to go
Now, get to wishing, what are you waiting for

I made my wish and she spun around
With a look of lust, and I stood my ground
She licked her lips, drew nearer to me
That kiss was made for eternity

One more wish, the old man said
Be wise, think hard, and use your head
Two wishes down, just one to go
Now, get to wishing, what are you waiting for

I held her from sunset to rise
The best part is there’ll never be goodbyes
She’ll be with me always, forever
Rubbing that man’s feet was pretty clever
