MAN AS A MIRROR

Should He not be the scrutinized,
He who created Man as a mirror
of Himself?

Temptation, given in
to among the serpent, at once
a fruitless endeavor, now alive
and wishing well when well
hinders righteousness, Pius’
piousness, too. Light, you live.

God is the sinner. And God was the saint.
Jehovah is loss. But He, too, is pain.
Man nor his love had beckoned to sin.

No!
the heavens have ever known
lust, echoing alive and trembling within.
