WHAT I HAVE IS ENOUGH

I’ve had my fair share of highs and lows
But I’ve never been down this dirt road before, no, no

It’s some long vacation I don’t want to take
It’s a broken heart, but it’s not heartbreak, no, no

There’s no map to guide
There’s no wind to howl
There’s no moon to shine
How will I know where to go?

We all have the one flaw to follow us through
In the good and the bad, we travel far to lose
Mine is never feeling like what I have is enough
So I question whether I wish I were worse off
Or if I’m fine with one

This is a runaway note written in ink and blood
I have to wait for my heartbeat to spell “Where to run?”
I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know where to go
Maybe nowhere as long as I can be alone

But I want to be better
I want to be more
I want to make you see that I would swim to the shore for you
If I had to

There’s no map to guide
There’s no wind to howl
There’s no moon to shine
How will I know where to go?

I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know where to go
Maybe nowhere as long as I can be alone

We all have the one flaw to follow us through
In the good and the bad, we travel far to lose
Mine is never feeling like what I have is enough
So I question whether I wish I were worse off
Or if I’m fine with one
